Color Me Green is a narrative short film produced in 2023 following Mia and Cara through an insecurity-driven breakup.
Working with fellow creatives to produce a vision from start to finish is where my creative passion THRIVES. Video work feels especially fulfilling.
This project taught me a lot about video production and Premiere Pro strategies in editing.
Color Me Green.
Notes from the director.
Aesthetics is my groove. Hence, this project highly considers production design, lighting, camera framing, and visual editing...
I am always open to collaborate on film/tv sets of any caliber since this type of work is my passion. I adore the creative genius that can be created when working together.
I believe that collaboration is key when looking to grow as an artist.

NOTES on shots from set...
A breath of fresh air...
Probably my favorite shot from filming. Diana was beautiful to work with and made pensive shots like this easy.
Shot for a scrapped sequence, "Mia" breathes in her future looking out at dusk-covered possibilities.
The beginning of the end...
At this turning-point in the narrative we wanted to highlight the characters' perspectives through color.
The confused state of Mae's character reflected through the mixing of red and green, where as Diana is highlighted full green below during the same conversation. Her decision is made.
Fear Dynamics
Diana is filmed from below. The camera shakes mirroring her explosive language. Mae remains seated; frozen.
To Love and to Show it
Set dressing and costuming is where I have a lot of fun in film; the interior becomes the exterior.
The two dress up, they have their makeup done, they shine in their most authentic looks.
The audience should sense harmony.
